Can you believe my favorite cupcake place in all of D.C., Sweetbites, of *all* days in the year, decided to service their truck on my birthday?! (Yes, they're even better than Georgetown Cupcakes). I was severely disappointed. The only other alternative near my temporary place of work is Hello, Cupcake! So I settled. It didn't taste as good as my beloved Sweetbites, but the cupcake it was still pretty good and it was certainly pretty. (Confession: This is a photo of an old cupcake, because my camera phone refuses to allow me to download the pic of the cupcake I took today. You'll have to trust me when I say that it was pretty. :P). Have a great Friday night! I will be spending it with some beer (and friends).

I wasn't impressed with Georgetown Cupcakes either. I wonder if it's because I chose a boring flavor, chocolate, lol. I want to try again, but I lose my appetite every time I see the ridiculous long line.
Happy happy birthday, Cher! *virtual Sweetbites cupcakes for you*
Happy Birthday Cher! Cupcakes are a great way to start off your bday celebration! =)
I went to Georgetown Cupcakes last year when I was in DC but wasn't impressed with it, either. I couldn't believe people was waiting outside around 9pm for cupcakes =). Have a wonderful birthday, Cher!
happy birthday, Cher!! and love me some cupcakes. :)
Thanks, Cee! If you ever see a Sweetbites Cupcake truck, I highly recommend it. Especially the Cookies 'n Cream flavor. It's the fluffiest cupcake icing ever!
Thanks, Jess! =D
I know, people stand in line for HOURS and inevitably, the store closes for the day and leaves people who have been standing there for hours without cupcakes! Amazing what a reality show can do for you (even if it is a terrible show).
Thanks Kileen! I wish I could send everyone a box! =D
Happy Birthday Cher! (Great cupcake picture, looks so yummy ;)
Just wanted to say Happy Bday! :)
