With one exception, I have never met a slingback that would stay on my heels, and I regret not making that purchase. =/ But these slingbacks *almost* stayed on. The sling on my left foot stayed on the whole time but the shoe on my right smaller foot, slipped off a occasionally as I walked. I wasn't sure if a heel pad and a foam strip placed in the back of the strap was going to help, however, and I wasn't about to take part in another expensive shoe experiment.
Look: Very pretty. A pointed toe that is not so pointy. The inner side has a bit of reptile detailing and there is minimal toe cleavage.
Heel height: 2 inches.
Sizing: TTS, probably a little bit on the narrow side.
Comfort and fit: Very comfortable. Good amount of padding in the footbed, edges of the shoe not sharp so that they dig into the foot. Straps are secure and the heel is not high so it makes a commute to work very comfortable, but still gives a little height to shorties like me.
Quality: Good quality, just like my other pair of BSMs. The leather is smooth with the exception of the reptile detailing. It has a leather sole which will eventually need to be re-soled by a cobbler:
Colors: Cobblestone (nude) and Baltic Blue (Bright blue patent).
Price: The Cobblestone color is currently on sale for $173.14 plus an extra 20% with the F&F code (FRIENDS2) and 13% cash back from ebates making the final total about $120.51. The Baltic Blue is not on sale. Its regular price is $225 and the F&F code with the cash back applies. The total will come to $156.60.
Verdict: Return due to the fact that I'm not sure if I can make the right shoe stay on my foot, but I do recommend these. Get them here.
One more shoe review coming. Hopefully I can get it up before midnight so you can take advantage of the F&F code. Otherwise, Endless has free shipping and free returns within the US. No risk buying! Do it! =D
